Dr. Mitchell received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude at Marshall University. He furthered his education at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed both his internal medicine residency and fellowship at Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine. From 1992 to 1995, he was the Chief Fellow of Oncology. He previously was the Chairman of Oncology for Novant Health Huntersville and assisted the Internal Medicine Residency Program for Oncology Rotation for Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Mitchell founded Southern Oncology Specialists in 2010. He enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for all genres of music.

Ramesh K. Pandey, MD
Dr. Pandey’s passion for medicine started at an early age in his native country of Nepal. It was there that he witnessed the compassion and dedication of his aunt and uncle as they provided healthcare services to the community that left a lasting impression. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Universal College Services in Nepal. He then moved to the United States, completed his Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Afterwards, he spent two years at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He completed his fellowship program at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Pandey is married to the love of his life and has two beautiful daughters. His personal pastime revolves around playing tennis, traveling and hiking. He loves to explore new places, with one of the highlights being a hike to Mount Everest South Base Camp in Nepal.

Pam is a Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of experience in the medical field. She has practiced in family medicine, hospice/palliative care and worked for many years in the hospital critical care unit. She received her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Gardner-Webb University. Pam grew up in a small town in southern Virginia (South Boston, Virginia). Her Husband, being a minister, brought them to the Statesville area to assist in the ministry. She has three children and one granddaughter. When not at work, Pam enjoys spending time with family, traveling, weekend excursions, and she loves sports, especially college basketball. Pam always knew that she wanted to be in healthcare.
Jessica Fulk, PA-C
Jessica is Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She received her Undergraduate degree in 2014 and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018 both from Gardner-Webb University. Previous experience includes working in long term care facilities providing psychiatric care with acute and chronic disease management. Jessica is a native of North Carolina and currently lives in Lincolnton with her husband and two boys. She enjoys reading, art and spending time with her family and friends.
